Description:Sahasrabhuja Avalokitesvara is cosmic from of Avalokitesvara. he is represented woth eleven arms. the basic image is one of the eleven handed and eight armed Lokesware. the eight arms of sahasrabhuja Avalokitesvara have more prominent position and other remaning ones are distributed on either side to from a mandala. these arms are sometimes marked with eyes. the eleventh head at top is that of his parent tathagata, amitabha. the tenth head is terrifying and all others are placid. the principal pair adoration while the uppermost hands hold the rosary and the full blown lotus. these four hands thus represent the aspect of bodhisatwa knows as kharchheri. the other four hands display the jewel and the gesture of charity on right and the pot and the bow arrow on the left.
